Christmas Mission: Thrive Behavioral Health’s Tiverton House

​

Our 2023 Christmas Mission is to provide a very merry Christmas to the residents of Thrive Behavioral Health's Tiverton House. There are currently nine residents living with severe and persistent mental illness ranging in age from 30-71 years old. The residential environment helps to regulate the clients with medication management, learning life skills, and working towards meeting their individual goals. Few clients have family involved with their treatment, so many times the residents come together to support and be a family to each other.

 

Each resident has created a wish list for us to reference. The list is available below and updated often. Please call the office at 401-624-4611 or email office@amicablechurch.org when you pick an item(s) to purchase so we can keep the list current. Gifts can be brought to the church through Thursday, December 14th for delivery to Thrive’s Tiverton House on December 15th. Please wrap your donated gift and designate it to the individual. If you are not able to wrap the gift, just let Kristen Zeiser know ahead of time. If you are not able to shop but would like to contribute, please direct a monetary donation to Amicable Church with “Thrive Christmas Mission” in the check memo line and let Kristen know by December 10th of your donation. Director of Development Jessica Lachey stated, “We are really appreciative that the church would adopt them for the season.” She also mentioned that if there are any church members looking for volunteer opportunities who want to do some home improvement projects, they’d welcome the help! Just let one of the Deacons know of your interest and they’ll put you in touch.
