In Worship This Week

Sunday, January 5, 2025 @ 10 AM

Live! On-site & Online

The Road Isn't Always Straight (Matthew 2:1-12)

The star is a guiding force of hope for the Magi as they embark on a long journey. When you feel as if you’re in unknown territory, what are the guiding forces of hope in your life? What signs do you look for to show you where to turn? As part of our worship this Epiphany Sunday, we will receive “star words” – a word to guide us on our journey through the year ahead.

There's a place for you here

We are a people of radical welcome, radical love,  & radical hope.

Whether it's your first time worshipping with us or your first time in a while, we'd love to welcome you! Worship begins at 10 AM (and if you get here at 10:05, that's okay too). There are parking and entrances on both sides of the building. If you're in need of an elevator, park in the smaller ("north") parking lot.

Families with children are always welcome in worship! On the first Sunday of the month, children remain in worship with their families for Communion. We offer an all-ages Sunday School most Sundays; visit our "For Families" page for our current calendar.

Our bathrooms are single-use, all-gender restrooms.

We'd love to answer any questions you may have to help your first visit feel more comfortable -- reach out here!

Welcome to Amicable Congregational Church, United Church of Christ.

We are an Open & Affirming congregation with deep roots in and a commitment to the Tiverton community. As followers of Jesus Christ, we have taken seriously God's call to serve the least among us. We invite you to join us in worship and find your place in one of our many ministries!

We believe in the importance of providing connections to essential resources and education. Visit our Resources & Information section to be connected to mental health, substance abuse, health & wellness, and other work from our denomination and groups in our wider community.
